Book One in the Charmed Series

The Two Kingdoms of the North were ruled by royalty that were not only related but had been having a lasting peace between them for many years. Just recently, there had been an agreement signed between the two kingdoms strengthening their relationship, and the inhabitants were remarkably comfortable living so close to each other. The kingdoms were called the Eastern Kingdom and the Western Kingdom by most disregarding the old names of the past. Alana was a young princess in the Eastern Kingdom and was known throughout the land as the one who was to take over one day. She would be Queen, and everyone knew it.

She was expecting a visit from one of her most trusted associates, Kayla, and readied the papers that she had prepared to give to her. The papers were to form a group of citizens that would keep the parks in the kingdom tended. It had been a problem for the local areas that there would be parties and parades in the parks, and no one would ever clean up afterwards.

Kayla walked in and curtseyed to her. “The one whom you asked for is here.”

Alana gave her the papers while the princess’ long brown hair flowed past her waist. “You may let him in. Here are the papers regarding the parks. Make sure the papers are kept secure while they are delivered. We don’t want any trouble about this matter. Hobnobbers have been gathering in the parks since they haven’t been cleaned, and we want them to go home.”
